I believe there is some confusion about the Elite Package, a model I've worked very hard on to ensure that it's quality and fair. I believe some if not all of this confusion was due to how I explained it and wanted to take any and all questions you guys and girls had relating to this newly announced model.
I've gathered as many as I could and have posted the answers below:
Q1 - Will the Open Galaxy Module be Premium? No! Open Galaxy is a FREE addition to both Elite & Standard owners of the game. This includes a free Guardian Starship. The only premium content related to this module are additional Starships at the Store which can be PAID or PLAYED for and are cosmetic variants to customize your appearance. Q2 - Will the Mech Module be Premium? No! The Mech Module is a FREE addition to both Elite & Standard owners of the game. This includes a free Mech unit for EACH class (Light, Meidum, Heavy) as well as the Mech Weapons.. The only premium content related to this module are additional Mechs at the Store which can be PAID or PLAYED for and are cosmetic variants to customize your appearance. Q3 - Does this in any way affect the present for Founders/Standard owners? No - everything is the same, as it was before the announcement. Q4 - Are there any differences going into the future for Founders/Standar owners? Everything is the same except that Loot Crates are announced for the Store. These can be PAID or PLAYED for. Q5 - Do you need a Key to unlock said Loot Crates? Gross, absolutely not. Q7 - If I have Founder Access, is it worth it to upgrade to Elite? To be honest, probably not for most and it was designed this way. The only major differences between Elite and Founder are the exclusive cosmetic items, 10 games worth of Ion equalling $1 and the biggest addition which is the confirmation/inclusion of the first 20 Guardians. That last part may be the only part that would be worth it to YOU the player. However this is also an option for people that do love exclusive items or simply want to support us in that way. Q8 - Will the Elite program ever go away? It is scheduled to be around permanently. Q9 - When will the Elite program begin? No official date just yet, working on getting Version 1.5 out to the public and we will have more details. Q10 - Founders can upgrade for $50 instead of $100? Yes that is correct. Q11 - Is there a limit to how long Founders can do the $50 upgrade? It is scheduled to be permanent. Q12 - If I upgrade to Elite and get unlocks instead of purchases, what happens to my already-achieved Levels per Guardian? Originally there was no retro-active reward. But we will find a way to honor already-completed levels using the announced model (Bronze/Silver/Gold crate distribution). Q13 - Will the 20 Guardians towards Elite be available to other owners (Standard/Founders)? Absolutely - they will use the same Store. Q14 - If I am a Founder with 50% Savings already and upgrade to Elite with that 50% stack for 100% Savings? Of course not. Q15 - Is the Elite Pet faster or better in any way? No it just looks different, cosmetic only. No Pay-2-Win!
