The ORION crowdfunding campaign will begin on October 1, 2016 and run for 30 days. (CROWDFUNDING FOCUS) The focus of this Crowdfunding campaign is to boost production speeds as we approach the massive Version 2.0. We want to pay existing developers more to afford them more time, we want to bring on more talent and we want to release content even quicker than we already are. (WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO) We love ORION very much but we also love the industry in which supports indie endeavors like ORION and constantly fight for it and the gamers that create it. ("THE ULTIMATE SPACE GAME") We all want the ultimate space game. If you've been let down or lied to by other Space games, we are here to remedy this. We are committed to creating one of the best games of all time and this is courtesy of an extremely skilled team and also our community who we interact with and participate with as much as possible. (LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT) Everyone is absolutely loving to work on Orion and we're all working on the most amazing and enjoyable content in the history of our team as we speak. We're playing with NPC's, galaxies, new Dinosaurs, SpaceShips, Mechs and it's simply a blast. We want to add more, we want to do it quicker and we want to keep pushing this game past the limits that we initially set back just in December 2015. (ALWAYS LEARNING) We had a few hiccups along the way. Everything is a learning mistake. This is no different than any other person and the only thing we deem important is how you take it from there. We've invested years of time and money into our communities and products and we do it because we appreciate any level of support but also because we truly love Orion and will see it through regardless, no matter what. (WE NEED YOU) We can only create the game. We need your help to share it. (WHY TREK?) We released one of the worst games of all time in 2012. This was horrible. But we spent years and all of our funds on remaking the entire game at no cost to all owners and it is now a celebrated co-op shooter on Steam. We attempted to raise funds for The Orion Project in 2014. This failed. This didn't stop us and we continued on with development. We attempted to raise funds for Guardians of Orion in 2015. This failed. This didn't stop us and we honored all backers with rewards in addition to releasing on time. We had a terrible first sales report for Guardians of Orion in 2016. Instead of cancelling it we announced a larger comittment and a bigger scale for the project. The continuing thread in all these events is that no matter what, we will deliver. There is no better team to invest in and if you want the ultimate space game there is no other team that will be able to deliver.
