One of the really neat parts of GOO Phase 2 is the showcase of actual time passing.
REMASTER COMPLETE
While GUARDIANS OF ORION PHASE 2 has many remasterings simply to add richness and detail due to updated talent & technology, there were other lore-based changes made as well:
PROGRESS & PASSAGE
We are a few years down the road now with Phase 2 and so massive updates to some areas were made to showcase these developments as we get closer and closer to the Prelude time table. One of the regions with the most significant reworkings in this area is the Depth (Quarantine) region.

This area is probably one of my favorites now - and it was actually one of my least favorites in Phase 1. I hope you enjoy the upgrade just as much and look forward to seeing you all in Space.
For those that didn't know, Guardians of Orion took place roughly ten years before the small slice of time that our first game, ORION: Prelude occupies in the Orion lore/timeline.
