Hey everyone,
Just a quick post to say the Blackjack Trainer – Initial Deal DLC is now live.
This little add-on focuses only on the first two cards and the dealer’s upcard, so you can drill those first decisions over and over without having to sit through full hands all the time. It uses the same rules as the main game (6 deck shoe, dealer hits soft 17, double on 9/10/11 only, up to 2 splits, etc).
Over the last few weeks I’ve:
fixed up a bunch of bugs and UI issues people pointed out
had an external QA tester go through the game and trainer
made sure the DLC hooks in properly from the main menu
If you already own Classic Blackjack and grab the Trainer DLC, I really hope it helps you feel a bit more confident with basic strategy and what you should be doing on that first decision.
I’m just a solo dev doing this on my own, so if you run into any issues or have ideas to make it better, please let me know on the discussions page and I’ll do my best to sort it.
