Changes & Fixes
• Improved note placement near bar ends
Adjusted the note placement logic so notes landing at or near the end of a bar behave more consistently, especially when using custom MIDI files.
• Added “Capture Mouse Cursor” toggle
Players can now choose whether the mouse is locked to the window. Available in the Options menu.
• Options menu layout improvements
Cleaned up spacing and formatting to make settings easier to read and navigate.
• Added “Single Lane Mode” (Experimental)
A new optional way to play, based on feedback from players who found the sheet-music stacking style overwhelming at first.
Single Lane Mode (Experimental)
Single Lane Mode presents charts as one continuous horizontal track:
No bar stacking
Camera scrolls to the right
Notes approach from the left
Works with all difficulties
Fully supported in multiplayer
Toggle it on/off anytime in Options
All the underlying note rules and mechanics remain unchanged, it’s simply a different visual presentation meant to help with learning curve and accessibility.
This is very much an experimental feature, so any impressions or suggestions are extremely welcome.
Feedback
If you try the new mode or run into anything unusual, I’d love to hear about it.
Feedback in the Steam discussions or the Discord is genuinely helpful in shaping what the final game will look like.
Thanks again to everyone who has checked out the demo so far!
