Hello Gamers!
Before anything else, we want to thank everyone who has supported the game so far! This is our first community post, and we'd like to take this moment to tell you how grateful we are to have you with us!
Now, onto the announcement. After much thought and discussion, we've decided it's time to change the game's title. We've heard from players that the original name caused confusion and sometimes drew comparisons to other game franchises which is something we didn't intend.
We were disheartened at first to let go of the original title, Remnants of the Settlers, as it has already grown in our hearts. But once we came up with the new name, Havenreach: Last Refuge, we knew it represented the game even better.
The game itself has a bittersweet tone of survival since you are exiles seeking refuge in a contested land struggling to survive and rebuild. We believe this new name captures that feeling more clearly while standing uniquely on its own. We're excited to build a strong identity for Havenreach, and we're happy that you're here with us as it grows.
See you in Havenreach soon, as you lead your people to survival!
Cheers,
Lawrence Chua
