Recent Updates
Since launch, we've continued to push out patches every 1-2 weeks. The primary focus for these recent updates has been crash fixes and stability improvements.
This week's patch (Alpha 0.1.3) fixed the black screen issue that occurred during level loading in offline mode. Additionally, the time of day selection has also been fixed.
The previous patch addressed the Fatal Error crashes reported by a small group of players.
With each patch, we have also been adding additional game-ready houses to "visit" and new residents to welcome to the neighborhood.
Unfortunately, I've been slacking on getting the release notes published when these patches go live. We'll be getting more formalized release notes posted with our future patches going forward.
Coming Soon
More bug fixes! We're also completely redesigning how we save/load the persistent state of the thousands of individual dynamic assets that players can interact with in the levels to reduce loading times of house interiors with a more reliable level of persistence.
We're also adding more interactive furniture to stash all of our little secrets, spare change, TV remotes (batteries not included), unpaid bills, and perhaps a few valuables.
