Visual Update – We Chose a Direction (and You Can Sign Up for the Playtest!)

Hey everyone 👋

A little while ago, we asked you to help us decide on the visual style of If Red Then Stop.
After testing, iterating, and reading your feedback…

We’ve made a decision! 🥳

🎨 Our new look

We’re going with a blue, brighter interface combined with a technical grid background. We haven't reworked the 3D assets (cars, trains, roads, etc.) yet and will take a look at them later.

Why this direction?

• It keeps the engineering and technical feel

• It improves clarity and readability

• It still feels like you're working with a real operating system, not just a game UI

The grid was especially important to us, because it helps preserve the technical look we want for the game.

Next, we’ll be launching our first small-scale playtest here on Steam. If you’d like to join, you can request access to the playtest on our Steam page.
