Create stages from real-world routes
One of the core features of the Stage Creator is its support for GPX files.
This means you can:
Take any real-world route
Import it directly
Instantly turn it into a playable stage
Whether it’s your local training ride or an iconic climb, you can bring it into the game with just a few clicks.
Fast, intuitive editing
Once your route is loaded, the Stage Creator lets you easily define all key elements of a stage:
Stage type (flat, hilly, mountain, TT and more)
Intermediate sprints and KOMs
Wind zones and terrain sectors (cobbles, gravel)
Finish characteristics and race settings
Most values are automatically detected or suggested from the GPX data, letting you focus on shaping the stage rather than configuring everything yourself.
Built for flexibility
The tool is designed to be lightweight and flexible:
Create new stages from scratch
Edit existing stage files
Make quick adjustments in seconds
Stages are saved in the Velo Victory format (.VVS) and can be reopened and modified at any time.
Seamless integration
Adding your custom stages to the game is straightforward thanks to a simple and clear folder structure.
No complex setup, just place your files in the right location and you’re ready to go.
We’ve built this tool to make stage creation accessible to everyone. From experienced modders to players who just want to recreate their favorite rides.
We’re excited to see what you create.
Important note
This is an early build of the Stage Creator.
A more complete version will be released as a dedicated Steam tool alongside the full release of Velo Victory, including further improvements and updates.
