Hi, I recently released a beta version of the new update ready for you all to test!
Here's a changelog:
1.2.0.0 - The Steam Revolution Update
Game Changes:
- Combine Aces now spawn with shields, which drop when the Ace is defeated.
You can pick shields up to get 25 armor points.
Shields are configurable in the ADVANCED OPTIONS menu.
- The Deagle now fires at a fixed fire rate.
- Lowered the Sniper Rifle's refire time.
- Lowered the M249 Para's fire rate.
- Added 1 new NPC:
Combine Female Assassin
- Added 3 new weapons:
S.L.A.M
XM29 O.I.C.W
Flare Gun
- Rebalanced NPC spawners:
- Fast and Poison Headcrabs are more rare in XEN INVASION and FIREFIGHT RUMBLE.
- Bullsquids and Houndeyes are now more common in XEN INVASION and FIREFIGHT RUMBLE.
- Added new bullet impact sounds.
- Fixed a bug where 40 out of the 60+ hints/splashes would show up.
- Added 6 new hints/splashes.
- Changed up the main menu a bit.
- Redesigned the Store.
- Fixed an issue where you cannot buy more than 1 RPG round
Steam Version changes:
- Improved Achievement support.
To access the update, right-click FIREFIGHT RELOADED then go to Properties. After that, go to the BETAS tab and then select the "beta" branch. Steam will download the beta.
