Content Patch Announcement
First off, another big thank-you to everyone who’s picked up Ruina or played the demo. The response so far has been incredible, and I’m really grateful for all the support and excitement in these first few weeks.
With that momentum in mind, it’s time to bring more content to Ruina!
I’m excited to share that over the next ~2 weeks (targeting December 18th, time permitting), I’ll be releasing a content patch that includes:
25 new scrolls
2 new bags
2 new boons
A new “Challenge Mode” (name pending)
Challenge Mode will feature handcrafted scenarios where you’re given a specific set of consumables and/or scrolls and must reach a target score. I’m aiming to launch with 25 challenges ready to go—more details soon!
Patch 1.0.2.0
Bug Fixes
Mauler scroll no longer starts with 4 “charges.”
Fixed an issue where the Replay scroll’s max-level upgrade text was missing.
Resolved a bug past Tier 39 where values wrapped into negative numbers.
Store Clerk boon wasn't appropriately refreshing all items. That's been resolved.
Quality of Life
You can now continue an ongoing run after closing the game. This should help long-run enjoyers push their builds even farther. Good luck out there!
Experimental windowed mode. If you launch this with -- --windowed it should open in windowed mode and allow you to move it around your displays.
Not perfect, but a stop gap until I add better display handling
