In this game mode, the hockey puck is your only method of attack. Collect powerups to gain an advantage and earn extra points for combos. Some powerups affect dropped pucks differently (S or down arrow) such as the Red powerup which activates a trip mine mode.
There are 8 new powerups in total:
Red - Volatile - A firework-like projectile and mine that explodes on contact.
Orange - Homing - Automatically seeks opponents and trip mines.
Yellow - Electric - Creates a powerful electric beam. Extra effective in water!
Green - Adhesive - Sticks to opponents and surfaces. Leaves behind sticky pixels on successful hits.
Teal - Plasma - Projects pucks horizontally and vertically with laser precision.
Blue - Triple - Throw or drop 3 standard pucks.
Lavender - Frost - Freeze opponents with a direct hit or temporarily chill them with ice patches.
Purple - Vortex - Creates a large and dangerous vortex on successful hit.
