Hello everyone,
We have received feedback that a very small number of players are experiencing a persistent black screen when entering the prologue, preventing progress. The development team is fully investigating the root cause, and the initial assessment suggests it may be related to abnormal save file initialization under specific circumstances.
We sincerely apologize to players affected by this issue. While awaiting an official fix, you can try the following temporary solutions:
Temporary Solutions (recommend backing up saves before proceeding)
Locate the Save Folder:
Navigate to the following path (replace (username)with your computer's username):
C:\\Users\\(username)\\AppData\\LocalLow\\Nino\\project_nonmp
(Note: The AppData folder is usually hidden by default. Enable "Hidden items" in the View menu of File Explorer to display it.)
Delete the Problematic Save Files:
Delete all contents within the project_nonmpfolder.
Verify Game File Integrity:
In your Steam library, right-click on the game The Nonexistence of Morphean Paradox: The Forest of Silver Shallots.
Select "Properties" > "Installed Files" > "Verify integrity of game files".
Wait for Steam to complete the check and repair any corrupted files.
Restart the Game:
After completing the above steps, restart the game. The system will generate a new save file for you.
If the Issue Persists
If the problem continues after trying the above steps, it may be due to more complex system environment conflicts. To help us identify the issue faster, please provide detailed information via the following channels (we will prioritize these reports):
