Welcome to this week’s DevBlog, since our previous update (0.4.6.4132) there have been some questions on everyone’s tongue...Molecules, what are they? How do I earn them?
Molecules, what are they?
Essentially, Molecules will become our premium currency and it will be used to purchase items that allow you to customize your avatar further or buy private spaces etc. Currently, we’ve been using DLC as a method to deliver premium content to Atom Universe, but moving forward we would like to start bringing this in-game.
Our ultimate goal is to start giving you the control over the type of content you would like to have available for your avatar for a price that’s suitable for you (free & premium). With DLC packs, you’re often purchasing a pack of clothing or accessories, but maybe not everything in the DLC pack appeals to you. With Molecules, you’ll be able to purchase premium content individually!
How do I earn them?
Unlike Atoms which are earned freely throughout Atom Universe, Molecules will only be available to purchase via the PlayStation or Steam Store. Once Molecules are live, there will be a variety of pack sizes to choose from.

Towards the beginning of the week, we asked you to help us name our next arcade machine (codenamed: Scrolling Shooter).In the poll there was a choice of four names to pick from:
