Hey Everyone!
We're here with our first update patch for Entropy! We've been reading all your feedback, comments, and reviews, and now have a good bit of adjustments and bug fixes to share. But first, thank you to everyone who's been playing, left a review, shared the game online, or told a friend! It all helps and has contributed to a successful Early Access launch.
Later this month we'll be sharing our Roadmap for Early Access.
Thank you all for your patience while the Lovely Hellplace team has been hard at work on this patch, see below for the full patch notes!
Entropy v 0.5.21 Patch Notes
Changes
New 'I'm Stuck' button in the Pause Menu – allows players to escape when they have been trapped by geometry etc.
Performance tweaks - game should now run a little better, especially in the opening levels.
New lighting optimizations - most lights will not cast shadows when the player camera is far away, improving graphical performance.
Some Field Map Enemies can now respawn -
Defeated enemies can now respawn after 3 tickets - Dying or Resting at Inns & Campsites each increase by 1.
Critical Hit balancing has been updated – to reduce the chance of players getting one-shotted by enemies.
Crit damage has overall been lowered, but crits should now also be more consistent at bypassing defence, as opposed to previously where it could be quite random.
Critical hits now deal +50% damage instead of +100%.
Critical hits no longer have a chance of being 'super crits' and bypassing all defence.
All critical hits now deal +50% Pierce and Break damage (with a minimum value of 4).
Sped up item usage animation.
Updated a few music tracks (world map, battle, Blind Bat Inn, Troubadour).
'You died' graphic is now red instead of ochre.
Updated sprite on 'reform party points' statues.
