2.2.1 Hotfix
This hotfix has been released to quickly address several known bugs and inconveniences.
New
- New Strategy: When an Enemy Disappears from Sight
Previously, when an enemy disappeared from sight, the AI would always move to the enemy’s last known position and search the surrounding area.
This caused the following behavior to repeat when the survivor was instructed to ignore enemies who were visible but outside their attack range:
- The survivor ignores the enemy while they are visible.
- When the enemy disappears from sight, the survivor turns around to pursue them.
- When the enemy becomes visible again, the survivor tries to ignore them again.
A new strategy condition has been added to resolve this behavior and allow players to choose how their survivors respond in this situation.
Updates
- Crafting quality probabilities have been reduced and crafting times have been increased. Both changes widen the performance gap between low and high Crafting stats, indirectly making the Crafting stat more valuable.
- Previously, survivors always prioritized looting corpses. They will now loot whichever is closer: a corpse or a loot box.
- Previously, the World Championship began immediately after the Season Championship, making it difficult to review the Season Championship results. The results screen will now be displayed once at the end of the Season Championship.
- The game will once again notify you if your survivor is injured before entering a match.
- Updated the translations of crafting quality tiers.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue in the Strategy Room where loading a saved crafting priority would select the last craftable item on the list if the survivor’s current Knowledge was lower than the saved item’s Knowledge requirement. “None” will now be selected instead.
- Fixed an issue in the Strategy Room’s crafting permissions where an item hidden due to insufficient Knowledge would have its crafting permission reset to “Allowed” after the survivor gained enough Knowledge for the item to reappear.
- Fixed incorrectly connected paths that caused some areas to become inaccessible on certain maps.
- Fixed an issue where the crafting, taping (stopping bleeding), and drinking animations were not displayed correctly.
- Fixed an issue where newly unlocked content was not displayed in the achievements UI after completing a challenge.
Next Update Preview
In the next update, the original unlimited training and simultaneous multi-survivor management system will return as a separate game mode.
