Hello, movers!
halfwaypixel here. The “Final” update is almost ready—we only have a couple of small mechanics left to finish, and then we’ll check the game for bugs together with our QA team.
But we want to make the update’s release a little more exciting and launch a full trailer for it on YouTube. We’ll need another 2–3 weeks to finish development, complete final testing, and prepare the trailer. We hope you understand (ᵕ—ᴗ—)
Update details: your models!
The new update will add a menu where you can upload your own character models! All you’ll need is a model in a supported format with a compatible skeleton.
Our system will automatically adapt the model’s skeleton to the in-game character and adjust its height. If something goes wrong, you’ll be able to fine-tune the settings manually in the skeleton editor.
Best of all, custom models will sync automatically in multiplayer sessions! You’ll see your friends’ models, and they’ll see yours.
Zen Mode!
Many of you have asked for a way to stop the endless stream of boxes. We decided to go even further: in Zen Mode, there are NO new boxes AT ALL.
Each level contains only the boxes that have already been placed there for you to load. Finished the job? Move on to the next level!
No bombs, magnets, electricity, or other nasty modifiers (..◜ᴗ◝..) Zen Mode is also available in multiplayer.
And a little more...
We know how many problems players had when trying to unlock the “Minimalist” achievement, so we decided to change its requirements radically: we removed the achievement we added a separate “Minimalist” challenge.
No more lost progress or confusing requirements. During the challenge, your upgrades are temporarily disabled, and the objective is simple: complete levels 1–3 in a row in a single attempt. That’s it—the achievement is yours!
We sincerely hope that “Minimalist” will no longer cause players any trouble.
We’ve also worked to improve the game’s performance across the board. Multiplayer should feel noticeably smoother, the graphics settings are now more detailed, and if needed, you can make the game look completely “potato” to boost your FPS...
And yes: magnets are finally more useful and now behave much more calmly (づ ᴗ _ᴗ)づ
P.S. Special thanks to Evolarte for translating our comic into French—the French translation will also be included in the update <3
