SNEAK PEEK SCREENSHOTS AT THE END!
Hello everyone,
First, thank you for your patience. The rework of The Things We Bury has taken longer than expected, but I’m finally ready to share what’s changed.
11 Supported Languages
The game now supports 11 languages:
English, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese, Italian, German, French, Chinese, and Arabic.
Expanded & Deepened Combat
Combat has been completely redesigned.
Battles now take place on a larger interface.
You can fight up to three enemies at once.
Cards now influence your emotional state, creating dynamic buffs and debuffs depending on how balanced, or unstable, your mind becomes.
Combat is no longer just tactical. It’s psychological.
Interactive Console System
One of the biggest changes is how you interact with the world.
Loading saves, speaking with the patient through memories, digging into fragments for potential rewards, it now all happens through a console-style interface.
You don’t just click dialogue options anymore.
You type commands.
The goal is to make you feel less like a player pressing buttons and more like someone actively navigating a fractured mind.
Toggleable Nudity
While the nudity in the game is mild and presented in a clinical, medical context, you now have the option to disable it entirely.
There’s much more I’d love to share, but some things are better experienced firsthand. This update is not the final vision, it’s just a step closer to it.
I see every single wishlist and comment. This project is smaller than you might think, and that means your feedback genuinely shapes its direction. If you have ideas or thoughts, I’m listening.
Thank you for being here. SNEAK PEEK SCREENSHOTS:
