Hello everyone! We are absolutely thrilled to finally announce that Mate'Morphosis will be launching on Steam on January 9th 2026!
The journey to this moment has been incredible, and we can’t wait for you to experience the world we’ve built. Here is a sneak peek at what you can expect on launch day and what comes next!
✨ Launch Features: What You'll Experience
At launch, Mate'Morphosis will be a rich and complete experience, offering several key features:
60+ Unique & Clever Boards: Challenge your strategic thinking with over sixty expertly designed and distinct puzzle-like boards, each requiring a fresh approach to the rules of movement and victory.
Deep Customization: Personalize your game experience! Customize your pieces and board with a variety of different aesthetic and variant options, allowing you to tailor the game's look and feel to your preference.
Accessible Worldwide: Enjoy the full experience in your native tongue with Localizations of 10 languages supported from day one.
Full Input Support: Play the way you want with comprehensive support for Mouse, Keyboard, and Controllers across all menus and gameplay.
🚧 Known Issues (Pre-Launch Transparency)
We believe in full transparency with our community. While we have worked tirelessly to deliver a polished experience, we want to acknowledge a few minor known issues we are actively working on for a post-launch patch:
IU Glitches: In some rare instances, certain piece animations may appear slightly glitchy or incomplete. This is a visual-only issue and does not impact the core logic or gameplay.
Minor Logic Bugs: We have identified a very rare bug where specific cases involving the Hostile and Resurrectable pieces may behave unexpectedly during certain complex board states. This is currently being investigated and prioritized for Patch 1.1.
🗺️ Our Vision: The Post-Launch Roadmap
Launch is just the beginning! We are fully committed to expanding and improving Mate'Morphosis. Here is a look at what we have planned for the near future:
Patch 1.1: (2 Weeks Post-Launch) High-priority bug fixes (including those listed above), Quality of Life improvements, and final optimization for all controller inputs.
Content Update 1: (Q1 2026) New content introduction, additional aesthetic options, and further QoL improvements/bug fixes based on community feedback.
🙏 A Message of Thanks and Support
