Originally intended to have this one out last Friday, but it's just so damn big... And got bigger along the way. I apologize that my update projections aren't always accurate, having to design and program all of the assets of each little step tends to confuse me my with own timelines that I set up. Anyway here we are!
Again it's late and I have not slept so I'm going to bullet point things for now and really explain tomorrow in another announcement.
- The save feature is back, so now music should stay off, screens should stay full, rewards you earn stay earned... etc
- You are now graded on the way you play. Play better get a higher Score. Get a higher a Score to Earn more Tokens. Spend Tokens to increase your ammo supply and strengthen the character.
- There is a Combo system now , so if you keep killing things you can chain up bigger combos for more points!
- The Tactics system is back and better than ever. Everything you do is noted by the Tactics system, and now you can chain Tactics together for big multiplier bonuses and really get some sick scores. ( An example of chaining Tactics together would be getting 2 consecutive shotgun head shots in a row, to chain it even further you could do something like smashing zombies with the Crusher, or getting some things to walk onto a Land Mine. ) Any unique kill will begin a Tactics chain, use any creative kill you can to keep that chain alive. The bigger your chain the more gangster you look in front of your homies. ...er I mean the bigger your Score is. I'll explain it more soon.
- You can now upgrade your favorite guns with Tokens, the spending system is pretty straight forward at the moment, I will definitely be fleshing it out more so there's a little more too it than just upgrading ammo.
- The PWR Orbs gain much more often now, with 3 Orbs Amber can break a zombie grasp. In the future these will do much more, I'll explain soon I promise. PWR Orbs are gained much like Tactics, when you kill or react creatively you gain more orbs, if you're fast enough you'll never get bit again.
- The Red Acolyte's health has been lowered. He's a bit weaker now, so there.
Ok there may be a bit more but I'll cover it tomorrow.
I'll be updating the graphics and sounds with rolling updates over the rest of the week into the weekend, my next big priority is the Tips and Secrets stuff.
Thanks guys, see you soon.
