Hi everyone,
Just a quick dev update on the upcoming V0.09u6 patch.
I'm pleased to announce that visual equipment will be arriving in patch V0.09u6!
When equipping armours, your characters clothes will change instantly, and can also be viewed from within the main menu.
A few more changes which will be arriving in V0.09u6-
-The space overworld is now almost twice as large, and contains over double the amount of exsisting planets, with more being added as we speak. The added planets contain new mechanics, quests, environments, enemies and alien races.
-The main story line has been expanded, and modified to account for the change in the games scale. Galaxies will also be seperated by sections of "Deep Space". This can all be traversed without any loading screens.
More info on Deep Space will be announced closer to release of the patch.
-In the current playable build of ATE:TH, on certain planets, you can find seperate sections of caves, and underground tunnels. In the upcoming patch, the underground systems have been expanded, and will become one large open dungeon which can be completely traversed on foot to access different parts of a planet.
Underground sections, depending on the planet, will also contain monsters, villages, treasure and more.
-Enemy skillsets have been tightened up, and some reworked completely. Enemies will still spawn semi-randomly, but within pre-determined sections of planets/space. As an example, enemies which look like they belong in a forest, will generally be found within forests etc. In other words, enemies will spawn within certain habitats, but not in exactly the same locations.
Most biological enemy types have also been expanded and will now include baby versions, adult versions and giant versions which spawn under certain conditions.
-When defeating certain enemies in the current playable version, a textbox would appear which displayed the various items that had been dropped. This would pause the flow of gameplay and caused some players a little bit of annoyance. That system has now been changed with enemies still dropping items, but without any pause to gameplay.
-Settlement mechanics
-Graphics have been updated, and are now more consistent in overall art style. All NPC and character faces have been updated.
- Opa Race
- Burgia Race
These are just some of the changes and additions which will be coming within the next patch.
Now is the time to get excited.
Thank you everyone for the continued support!
