Hey everyone,
After a period of quiet, a fairly significant update for the Demo is here! Let's dive into the details!
1. Major New Feature: "Sickness Rate" Mechanism
A new stat to watch: Sickness Rate. When it hits 100%, your character becomes Sick. While Sick, you cannot eat anything until you naturally recover after some time. This makes you highly susceptible to starvation, so be very careful to avoid getting sick!
How Sickness Rate Increases:It rises slowly when you are away from the Light Towers (e.g., while exploring the wilderness), as the gloom feels oppressive. It increases rapidly if you are in complete darkness.
How to Reduce Sickness Rate:Herbs now have a chance to spawn in well-lit areas. Consuming them reduces your Sickness Rate. Important: You cannot eat anything, including Herbs, while Sick!

2. Light Towers: No Longer a Game Over Condition
Previously, the game would end if all Light Towers in a scene went out. Now, the only game over condition is your Hunger reaching zero.
This change reduces the learning curve – just focus on keeping your Hunger above zero.
Hehe, but don't get complacent! Light Towers are still crucial. Their mysterious light lowers your Sickness Rate. Staying near a Tower prevents your Sickness Rate from increasing. Without them, getting sick becomes super easy!
3. Multiple Art Improvements
Ahem, we admit the previous art was quite rudimentary. While we aim for a minimalist style, minimalism shouldn't mean 粗糙 (rough). Many areas have been redesigned and redrawn for a more polished and visually pleasing look.
The Hunger UI has been changed from a circle to a square.
The Unit Information Panel has received a visual upgrade.

4. Other Changes
The "Shrill Voice" dialogue sound effect has been changed.
The stack limit for all items has been increased to 999.
Added sound effects for eating.
Reduced the volume of the BGM.
The trading interface with the "Hoarse Voice" now displays your remaining currency, so you no longer need to check your backpack.
5. Bug Fixes
Save System Improvements: The save system is more robust. More data is correctly preserved between game sessions.
Improved Stability: Enhanced overall stability, reducing crashes caused by critical bugs.
