Hey guys, Today is the release of Zombie Party 6.0!
This update is super awesome! I have been working hard over the month of october to bring you guys some fantastic game changing features. Next month is gonna be just as good so stay tuned! ;)
Heres a list of the major stuff:
- Completely new weapon/combat mechanic using randomly generated magic runes!
- Every rune is 100% unique, given its procedural stats!
- Runes are composed of an element (Fire, Ice, Electric, Poison, Darkness, Blade, etc...) and an attack type (AOEs, Storms, Blasts, Projectiles, Spiral Shots, etc...), along with other randomized stats to create a powerful magic spell!
- Magic stat matters now, upgrading your magic raises your total MP and MP regen! Raising it will also allow you to find more powerful runes! (level 5 magic runes are crazy!)
- New inventory system! (holds runes and items)
- Inventory quick slots! (use runes and items efficiently)
- Companions! Make new friends!
- Companions will show up in zones when playing 1 player! They will assist you for the duration of your stay in their dimension!
- New zone - Disco Zone!
- Disco zone is the "final zone" or "final boss fight"!
- Funky music, Dancing skeletons, Disco balls, and Laser Beams!
- Disco zone Boss is the phreshest boss around. He'll kill ya. No seriously good luck!
- New unlockable character - Robin! Uses a bow and arrow as base weapon! Very fun to mod bow and arrow!
- Hats to unlock and Zone Hats!
- Buy hats to express your individuality, or wear a diving helmet undersea!
- Sell gun mods and runes now for gold, rather than tossing them aside.
- Reworked Centiboss, has new personality and is a bit harder. (super fun boss fight)
- Secret entrance into the "Testing Zone" ;) the answer is hiding in the internal change log.
- Game progresses difficulty much better now. You have to be overpowered to survive!

Runes are can be easily identified by their symbol (attack type) and symbol color (element). (see below):
