Arvydas Žemaitis, developer of Shoppe Keep has been working Shoppe Keep for nearly five months. In that short time we’ve seen a lot of changes to the game and there will be many more to come. In an Indie DB article, we shared details of the zero build that was created at 3 AM on the 15th February 2015. Zero build featured naked red men wandering around outside a shop. They would choose to enter if the player had an item that interested them, these items included graphics cards. From the foundations of Zero Build, Shoppe Keep was developed, the game re-focused its look to play on the fantasy RPG genre and allowed us to sell more interesting items like potions, swords and wizard hats. The work above was created thanks to Ian, a good friend of Arvydas who helped to shape the visual style of shoppe keep and focuses on asset creation. To bring all of the code and art together, Daniel joined shortly after, responsible for the music for Shoppe Keep and creating the sound effects in Shoppe Keep.
The team are continuing to work hard on the game up to its Early Access release in August. We’ll be starting the price at just $4.99 and we hope that you’ll join us to help make an awesome game!
