I am excited to bring you a brand-new update for the Splatchinko demo!
Version 0.7.6 is here, and it brings some massive changes to how you play and build your runs.
I’ve been listening to your feedback and focused heavily on making the gameplay smoother and giving you more control over your builds.
Here is everything new in this update:
🛠️ Design & Gameplay Changes
No More Mutation Cooldowns! I completely removed the cooldowns for mutations! Your abilities will now trigger instantly and continuously. This makes the gameplay flow much more understandable, incredibly smooth, and a lot more chaotic in the best way possible.
Reward Re-rolls: Looking for that specific upgrade? You can now re-roll your rewards (Eyes and Mutations)! Re-rolling costs 5 GLOBE, and the cost increases incrementally with each roll. Now you have the power to craft your absolute perfect build!
Gravity Particle Visualization: I’ve added brand-new particle effects to visualize gravity, making it much easier to read the physics and see exactly how things are moving on the board.
🐛 Bug Fixes & Improvements
Improved Bouncing Physics: Bounces on the "bounce" balls are now much smoother.
Bonus Area Tweaks: The bonus area has been improved for a better player experience.
New Defeat Screen Recap: The Game Over / Defeat panel has been upgraded! It will now display a full recap of your match so you can review your run.
Text & Localization: Improved overall localization and in-game texts.
Cursor Fix: Smashed a pesky bug that caused the mouse cursor to disappear in certain situations.
