Development Update #5 New Buildings and More
It has been a while since we last posted an update here on Steam. If you want to follow our game more closely please join our discord at the bottom of the page for almost daily updates. Since the last update we have been hard at work making changes to the towns and many of the 3d models. The British and Spanish towns have been largely redone.
British Towns
The British houses were remodeled with new different roofs and structures that are 1-3 stories tall. We also added details in the towns such as barrels, crates and bags of flour. We think these changes have given the British towns a more unique style and also makes them more lived in.
Spanish Towns
The Spanish Towns have also been overhauled. We completely remodeled all of the buildings to fit more of the Spanish colonial architecture. The buildings are a mix of white, sienna, and tan colors. They have also been populated with details and red brick grounds.
Code Updates
Our multiplayer code is almost completely finished in terms of movement, physics and chunking the world. The inventory system is complete and we are currently rigging animations to each item the player can hold.
