Hey Slayers!
Hope you had a great fall and are cozy and warm now during winter. I have some great news to share about the upcoming Horde Slayer 0.2 update! Let’s get right into it!
New map and enemies!
Sewers is a new map located in an underground sewer city beneath an abandoned town. The map features a maze-like layout with many dangerous corners. BUT since it’s a closed-off system, that means there are no flying monsters… right? You’ll encounter old enemies as well as a few new ones that pose fresh challenges.
World map and objectives
The world map is a new way of navigating between different locations, making it easy to see what’s available and which objectives are currently active!
Quests
This is a completely new system that will challenge players and offer great rewards such as coins and sometimes even unique rewards like new abilities.
Stats
This is for all of you stat-o-holics out there. Here you can access all kinds of statistics, either across all seasons or within a specific one.
Improved UI
I’m always working to improve the UI, and here’s an image of the updated Play Menu with a much cleaner design that makes navigation easier - while keeping the same overall feel.
…And this is just some of it. More spells and abilities, a new boss, difficulty tuning, navigational fixes, optimizations… the list goes on.
The update is almost ready for everyone to play, and I’ll post detailed patch notes once it’s done. I’m aiming to release it before Christmas - it’s just the final sprint left before it’s ready to ship.
