Hello! This is !CyberApex.
It’s already been about three months since the release of Super Kingcrab Simulator.
Time really flies, doesn’t it?
I was actually planning to write this post a couple of days later,
but I figured I’d leave a short message a bit early.
Let's Start.
During a certain train trip, I saw the region’s local specialty king crabs and got inspired to make a game about them. Later, while chatting with a fellow developer who was showcasing their work at an event, I shared my idea.
“I’m going to make a game where a king crab liberates other king crabs!” I told them.
...
and then, on October 14th, 2024,
I uploaded my very first development log and a short video to a Discord community.
It was just a simple scene a king crab moving around. Yes, that’s right.
That very first devlog marked the beginning of Super Kingcrab Simulator’s development.
And in just two days, on October 14th, 2025, it will have been one full year since the project began.
Throughout that time, I’ve had so many opportunities and valuable experiences.
In particular, I was able to showcase Super Kingcrab Simulator at several game events,
and even hosted my own small playtest session, which was a fun and experimental challenge for me.
I also had my first interview, where I got to talk about the game in depth. (Korean)

As mentioned in the interview, many of my previous projects had either failed or been discontinued,
and honestly, that was really tough.
There were times when I seriously thought about quitting game development altogether.
But overcoming those struggles — and finally finishing and releasing this game means a great deal to me.
To everyone who
enjoyed the game,
purchased it, and supported me,
..thank you so much.
I hope you have a fresh and delicious gameplay experience! 🦀🦀🦀
Thank you.
