Update - v0.01.64 coming Today!

Here is the list of the notable modifications that come with the version 0.01.64!

IMPROVEMENTS:

  • The client performances have been improved.
  • The server performances should be way better (needs a stress test).
  • Reduction of the lags when a server is full of players, vehicles, and buildings.
  • Buffer size increased.
  • The (re-)starting speed of the servers has been improved.
  • Engine update (Unity 5.3.4)
  • "Disconnect" button added in the Play tab of the main menu.
  • The actions of the other players (animations, sounds, particles, lights, etc) are now culled according to their distance from the actual player.
  • Many wooden platforms connecting the islands have been added or reworked.
  • The environment have been improved and optimized.
  • A test have been added to the connections approval, it appears that some players are sending odd infos when they connect.

CHANGES:

  • FIXED: Duplicating objects with a furnace/brazier should no longer be possible.
  • FIXED: The firing effect of the flame-thrower stops correctly even if the player leaves the turret without release the fire button.
  • FIXED: The option to disable the chat panel is now working properly.
  • BALANCE: The fuel consumption of the Erebos has been divided by two.
  • BALANCE: The crafting cost of all the shells has been slightly reduced.
  • BALANCE: The crafting cost of the shipyard (the big one) has been drastically increased.
  • BALANCE: the damage of the 208 mm shell has been increased from 600 to 800.
  • BALANCE: The damage of the 106 mm shells have been increased from 180 to 360 (the rockets still deal 180).
  • BALANCE: The decay timer of the raft have been decreased form 1 hour to 10 minutes - For the other naval vehicles form 1 hour to 30 minutes - For the flying vehicles it has been increased from 20 minutes to 30 minutes - For the ships the timer remains 1 hour.
  • Main menu title changed from "Closed alpha" to "Alpha".

And finally, many thanks to the Russian community (mostly coop-land I guess ^^) for its unexpected and fortunate help, giving us the possibility to test the game with a full server prior the release. Which is a real luck actually!
