In Maja Island, you can explore the research labs where the creature was made. In one of the logs you can see.
Scientists deliberately combined the DNA of two very different sea creatures to engineer something entirely new. The result was El Gran Maja a massive, serpentine beast that shouldn't exist. Part of what makes it so eerie is that once you understand how it was built, you start to see both animals in it.
Can you guess which two animals were fused together to create it?
