A common issue folks have had with this game is the difficulty. Some enjoy the challenge, while others do not.
So this patch adds a simple difficulty option, which is accessible from the options menu. When enabled, all other racers (and bosses) will be slowed slightly. Enabling the option does not create any sort of penalty (and since it only affects the other racers, it does not change the difficulty in getting the achievements).
I hope this helps folks who are frustrated by the difficulty of the game, mainly because I think the variety of tracks is what makes it the most fun, and if the game is too hard they won't get to see some of the later ones.
Thanks to all who have played thus far!
