We just sent out the newsletter with the new Infopgrahic detailing Eternal Crusade at launch. If you are not subscriber to the newsletter, you are missing out of the State of the Crusades, important announcements, big patch updates and generally bad jokes. Head over to our website, www.eternalcrusade.com , log in and go to your character information.
For those that are too late for that, you can see the newsletter here with my commentary and sadly some things that looks like bad jokes but actually happened and shows how dangerous game development really is.

Our community website is still our central communication hub.
Since we will be on PC, XBOX and PS4, we need a central hub, it's where most of the developers hang out and chat, answer Q&A, focus groups, questions are gathered for our weekly 2PM EST Twitch and we generally take the piss out of each other. It's where we gather the most of our unstructured feedback - on top of every single thing anyone anyone does on the servers. There is a state of the crusade coming up that shows a lot of fun of that structured data so again, be sure to sign up to the newsletter.
We also just recently revamped our FAQ, Support Center, Bug Reporting and Community help section at www.eternalcrusade.com/contact/.
What this means besides it's new is that we now have an actual proper FAQ, Support Center, Bug Reporting and Community help section with full time QA and Customer Support helping you out. You can also comment, correct and add to all that stuff. It's still being polished as we got it from Zendesk which is pretty nice stuff and we hope you appreciate this upgrade in service as well.
GET TO DA PATCH CHOPPA
A big patch is coming this week and a hotfix after easter. For us it's a 4-day weekend and we're going to recover from our slavery so this is what we're aiming for in the patch.
Note of course that any of these individual items might not pass our multiple Quality Assurance passes and if it doesn't work and ends up ruining Easter weekend, that is not high on wishlist for our wonderful customers. And I assume this applies to them as well. More quality and working stuff is better than less quality with stuff that doesn't work, even in Alpha.
- New Game Mode: Fortress (30vs30)
- New Map: Imperial Fortress Harkus
- New Vehicle: Vindicator (Big badaboom for Fortress game mode)
- New Weapon: Multi-Melta (Not like Multi-pass)
- New Weapon: Power-Maul (Not like Darth-Maul)
- General Updates, such as Scoreboard new XP events, new achievements, visual updates to all sorts of things
- OPTIMIZATIONS, which are finicky, problematic and we really never know how many will be affected but we've been able to find a lot lately helping various types of setups and we're not stopping anytime.
- Tons of improvements, additions, bugfixes as usual and at the speed we develop, full patchnotes rarely fit within the 8000 character limit on Steam.
While all this is happening, as you saw on twitch, Eldar keep getting new stuff, Orks were in Mocap, vehicles and weapons for them being added and a new map coming to the UAT/Founder server this week. Well if Harkus behaves. More weapons, RTP store and visual customization as well as reward boxes also being made. We'll schedule some playtests around that! Follow our newsletters, forums, calendar here on Steam and I can be reached on Happn, Tinder, OK Cupid and Bumble.
So if we can manage to do all these things without killing ourselves (jury is still out) you can imagine what we can fit within 3 months of work in a free expansion.
Ave Crusaders and please be nice, the war is fought on Arkhona and if you tried to argue with rhetoric an Ork, you know what happens.
