End of week update, about updates and dates

I'm back after being sick for almost a week so I'm sorry for less communication. I'm adjusting to some medication that has side effects, been working a lot and got food poisoning - on my first date in Montreal. Moral of the story? Date a nurse.

First update is you should tune in to get more news on terminator equivalents, Eldar appearance items and the Grav gun. 2PM EST as usual.

Second we have a small hotfix with some safe fixes today. I know many of you will miss seeing a fix to your favorite pet peeve as I do, but we can't always deploy what we want. Risk vs reward and next full patch is next week.

Update: Hotfix has been deployed. See patch notes for details.

Patch next week is not our big monthly update, you'll be sure we'll let you know when that comes. It contains Campaigns and Grav guns for example. But we like to patch weekly or bi-weekly to maintain a good momentum of progress and fixes on all fronts.

Some highlights for next patch (patch notes will contain details):
- Fix to certain factions not being able to get everything in the progression tree.
- Reduced effectiveness of Meltaguns and Fusion guns against vehicles.
- More shrines available for Eldar.
- Psychic powers can now aim properly over cover.
- Storm shield don’t take durability damage from poison grenade
- Grenade launcher type of guns now more precise (the projectile was always left of reticle)
- Various improvements to user experience
- Fix to some execution animations
- Prevent players from being kicked out of a PvE lobby while waiting for other players (disconnected)
- And of course a swath of fixes to pretty much all areas, large and small not listed above but will appear in patch notes.

We're still closing the patch so there will be more combat fixes, map and bugfixes that we get in today that is already on our list of high priority fixes.

Sadly, some of the bigger time consuming tasks won't make it in, such as adjusting the timing and feedback of some melee animations to fit exactly to the underlying combat, and addressing a certain roadkill problem and should be in the following patch.

It's important to note again, these intermediate patches are for creating a solid momentum of bugfixes, improvements, performance, optimizations instead just one big monthly one. This is both safer as smaller patches are easier to manage and test, and we can focus one patch on big fancy bling and big badabum.

So, hotfix today, big fix and improvement patch next week, and a part of our team is working on the big update date TBD with Campaigns and more.

Last but not least, thank you all for sticking around and supporting us. Despite being a small shooter, we have about 30% MAU or monthly active users since we started the Founders program regardless of growth. That's amazing for a retail game. People come back for more and that means we're not doing everything wrong.

Although I must admit, I might have to try to wipe out some Civilizations this weekend. Hope you don't mind.
