Whispers from the Star is officially launching on August 14 at 6:00 PM PDT!
And now, a message from Stella:
The full game includes:
25+ story nodes (Steam demo includes 3)
More video calls (new topics + scenes)
A ✨ mysterious✨ new feature unlocked after finishing the story
The game will be available for a one-time cost of $9.99. We hope even more people will get to meet Stella, and fall in love with this world we’re building.
From a technical standpoint, this project has helped us validate a lot of possibilities. But more importantly, we genuinely believe this represents a future that players will love: one where everyone has a digital companion who brings them a sense of connection and belonging.
This is our first step in that direction: a brand new type of gaming experience. Internally, we call it the first FPT (First Person Talking) game: a genre where real-time conversation is the core gameplay.

很多朋友会问开发团队，这是不是一款技术DEMO？并不会发售完整版？
在这里我们想分享我们的开发的心路历程：从技术视角看，这帮助我们验证了很多技术方向的可能。但更重要的是，我们本身也相信这是游戏玩家喜欢的未来之一。我们相信，在未来，将出现这样一种虚拟世界：每个人都拥有另一颗灵魂相伴，帮助他们在内心深处获得精神的宁静。
《Whispers from the Star》就是我们在这个方向上的第一个尝试，这是一种全新的游戏体验，我们在内部叫她：第一个FPT（First Person Talking）游戏，即以自然语言聊天，并能得到对方包含表情、语音、手势动作的自然反馈为核心gameplay的体验。
在发布之前，我们对玩家的反馈充满好奇和期待，但demo的体验时长超出我们的预期，已经有超过2600位用户的体验时长超过1小时（在我们进行线上封闭测试的时候，前三个节点的平均时长仅为14分钟），这说明有越来越多的朋友在逐渐体验到FPT游戏的魅力。
因此，我们在此开心的宣布：《Whispers from the Star》将于8月15日在Steam平台上线。（注： 北京/新加坡时间为8月15日早9点，对应太平洋标准时间8月14日晚6点）
完整版将包含：
超过25个剧情节点（注：steam demo免费体验版本为3个节点）
更多video call（新话题、新场景）
神秘功能（游戏通关后解锁）
另外, 现版本游戏内容为买断制。我们希望更多的朋友能体验这款游戏，喜欢Stella，喜欢这款游戏。
