Hello cleaners!
It’s been a big week over at Brightrock Games and we’re delighted to share the latest Kaiju Cleanup news with you all - or at least, the bits deigned fit for public consumption.
Firstly as you will be keenly aware, we’re not a developer to toot our own horn, so to speak. We’re really not one for bragging. Nor blowing smoke, feeling full of ourselves, and so on. That being said…
🥳 WE’VE ONLY GONE AND HIT 200K WISHLISTS 🥳
It’s official - the people yearn to cleanse the world of Kaiju flesh. We are genuinely very humble and grateful for your superb support (you’re welcome). Tell your friends?
Six One Indie Showcase - NEW trailer reveal
Secondly, we’re very excited to be part of the Six One Indie Showcase with our latest trailer. It’s a searing slice of hot jazz, meat detritus and workplace injury. Have a look:
Dedicated cleaners may well have spotted some never-before-seen nuggets among the action. Well, in the interests of transparency (and the fact that these posts do not write themselves), here’s a...
Kaiju Cleanup close-up!
Construction Site revealed - Have you ever felt the raw, incomparable feeling of your major infrastructure project inching to completion, only for it to be rendered sodden with the innards, skin and tissue of a decaying Kaiju? If yes, we’re really sorry. If not, don’t worry; we’ve created a bloody building site just for you.
Shield your eyes, it’s the Armoured Kaiju - For Kaijus, like everyone else in our world, it’s what’s on the inside that counts. While you’re only getting a quick look now, we’re excited for you to develop a deep and meaningful relationship with our Armoured Kaiju, slicing through that cold, dense exterior to reveal the lovely goo within.
Going deeper underground with Subway - Mind the gap! Our latest trailer shows the first glimpse of a subterranean structure of winding tunnels, electrified rails and a commute gone seriously wrong. All aboard the non-stop service to Kings Cross St. Pancreas (sorry). You rightly ask, what could have caused such a godawful mess? Well…
Dig into the Tunneller Kaiju - Before becoming a colourful meat sack for you to dispose of, the Tunneller Kaiju was once a proud creature. They explored and surged their way through the innards of the great metropolis, popping up at inopportune moments to level buildings and cause the kind of mass destruction that leads to national emergencies and delays of up to an hour on the local mass transit system. Now laid low, they’re a veritable playground for intrepid cleaners.
That’s all for now. Of course, please remember we’re still in early development and everything you’ve set eyes on is very much work in progress. There will be deeper dives into these new levels and Kaiju in future updates, full of enticing insights. We definitely feel your desire to get hands-on and satisfy your appetite for decaying monster flesh - playtests have not begun just yet, but we’ll update you as soon as we’re good to go. Also, we recommend checking out the slew of other lovely indie game trailers, previews and news at the Six One Indie Showcase. And then come straight back here.
Until next time, cleaners.
