WHAT'S NEXT?
As some of you may have noticed, this tournament wasn't exactly perfect: there were some valid concerns about the matchmaking system, as well as a few stray bugs, not all of which were corrected in the course of the tournament.
On the coming Monday, our team returns from the winter holidays and will focus on a large update that we expect to ship around March 2017. We have dozens of (small but useful) changes to implement in the UI, a number of (small but irritating) bugs to chase, as well as two bigger projects: the completion of the Offline Mode that will allow everyone to play without staying connected to Steam; and an improved matchmaking/ranked session system, which we would like to rework quite significantly.
But before that big update, we'll try to do something special for the Chinese New Year which is coming later this month ːchinaː. Thanks again for participating in this record-setting tournament, and see you around!
