MAIN RULES
ːcardsː Format: 2х2 with the mod 2x2=66 (read carefully because for many cards, the number of doubles/triples has been adjusted in the deck!)
ːvotesː Tournament structure: Swiss tournament (9 rounds), without finals.
ːscoreː Victory condition: 66 rounds.

Pick and ban phase for characters
Each team has 1 character ban.
The choice of characters is as below:
1) higher-seeded team bans 1 character out of possible 12, this character cannot be chosen by any of the teams in the current session.
2) lower-seeded team bans 1 character out of possible 11 that remain, this character cannot be chosen by any of the teams in the current session;
3) higher-seeded team chooses 1 of their 2 characters from the remaining 10 characters;
4) lower-seeded team chooses 2 of their 2 characters from the remaining 9 characters;
5) higher-seeded team chooses their last character from the remaining 7 characters.
Disconnects due to personal issues
Any issues with player's Internet connection and other personal issues do not justify a replay of the session (except when the opposing team agrees to replay the session and there's still enough time to complete that session without delaying the tournament).
Replacement of players
Each team has an opportunity to replace only 1 player in every session for any reason. Players from other participating teams can't act as a stand-ins in those cases. In every case, at least one person from the original team must be present in the team.
Post-session
Teams report their score on Challonge's session page; it is generally recommended for the winning team to also attach a screenshot of the final victory screen (taking this screenshot is optional, but would be cool to have for future references and history!).
Schedule
Time limit for each tournament round is 4 calendar days. This 4-day round may be increased, but only if it is necessary for 2 or more of the participating teams.
All sessions must be played before the deadline of each round expires. In cases where teams couldn't play their sessions in time, tournament organisers will decide the outcome based on information provided by both teams.
Information required for registration:
1) Team name
2) Links to Steam profiles of participants (URL)
3) Timezone in GMT format (for example, Beijing would be GMT+8, and so on)
4) You have to register your team with similar name on tournament website (direct link to sign up for the tournament)
5) Best way to communicate with the organizers and other players to decide on a session time is Discord, link to join server
Most players in the tournament are expected to be Russian-speaking or Chinese-speaking, but we will help to communicate those teams who might experience language barrier issues. The main challenge in this tournament is the time that the players have to complete their sessions, and their timezone differences.
