I come with great news. A while ago I asked about your Ideas and Feedback for a Collectors Edition to support the Game and its development. Today I am happy to bring you news about the process:
In a cooperation with http://wirmachendruck.de I was able to secure you the following contents for a Collectors Edition:
1 DIN A2 Landscape Poster
1 DIN A3 Portrait Poster
1 DIN A3 Landscape Poster
2 DIN A6 Landscape Postcards
2 Booklets with 8 Pages each
1 Hardcover Artbook, 52 Pages, glossy sealed, colored 4/4 colors
Additionally I've struck a deal with someone to bring you 3D-Printed Figurines of a SHIP OF YOUR CHOICE! Thats right, not one of four premade ships, but any player-controllable ship you'd want in a beefy 105mm length. A few thing I need to line out are the DVD Case, the Packaging and the management of the Other Bonus Material on the DVD.
Bonus Material on The DVD includes an Exclusive WMD Partner Skin for the Jaguar, an exclusive Gold Lining Skin for the Kliper, A few Videos from the Dev and WIP stuff, Old Demos, documents of the game development, old Videos, new Videos, the Soundtrack on a CD and a lot more to come.
Now lets get to the other side of this deal: Due to the initial Cost of the 3D Model Printing and the other stuff I need to organize still, I have estimated the final retail price to around 40€ (45$) + Shipping (Different per Country) for a single Collectors Edition. I have talked to my 3D Printing contact and he'd be willing to additionally selling single models of Ships as well if the demand arises.
Now we get to the ultimate question:
Would you like to Preorder the Collectors Editions and get them as soon as they are done? Technically if you Order this Friday, you'll get it around mid to end April.
