I met up with a couple people about making French and German translations. it's not necessarily a 100% done deal, but things are looking good :)
this will include all the UI elements, the dialog with Blaer (the computer AI), the journal entries, and many equipment effects. some of the text to be translated is still nestled deep in the code, where translations are not easy to apply, but I'm going to be fixing that up in the next couple days (three day weekend! woo!)
ALSO: I've fixed a couple gameplay bugs; thanks to everyone who uses the crash report! I haven't released these bug fixes yet, as I'm in the middle of trying to fix the crash that some people experience the moment the game starts! unfortunately, this bug might be due to MonoGame (the engine I'm using for doing graphics, sound, etc). it looks like the problem specifically is when the game tries to initialize the music-playing code, so I may be able to fix it by finding an alternative music-playing library. implementing that would take a while, though, so if I can find a solution for MonoGame, I'd prefer to do that! fortunately this bug does not seem to affect too many people, but it still bothers me that it's affecting ANYONE. there are some other, less-bad music related bugs, too (music deciding to just not loop anymore) that I would like to get away from, too... so maybe another music-playing library is the way to go... ugh, I dunno.
ANYWAY: as always, I'll keep you guys up to date on how everything goes. and if the audio-related bugs take a while to sort out, I'll release a smaller bug fix earlier.
thanks for playing :) I'll get these bugs fixed!! >:O
