I realize that for some of you, what happens to your money after you buy a game is probably not even a thing you think or care about. all the same, I want to thank you for making a donation of $500 to The Planetary Society possible! I have had fun making this game; you have hopefully had fun playing it; and now, as an extra-extra bonus, the human race is $500 closer to discovering yet another exoplanet, possibly one with conditions condusive to life.
... that's so awesome! that's so great.
and I am going to continue having fun making this game, and I hope you will continue to have fun playing it, and as an extra-extra bonus, we can continue to take this opportunity to make life on earth a little more exciting, a little healthier, and a little happier :)
ALSO: in a crazy twist of events, I received an e-mail from JAXA - the Japanese space agency - apologizing for the delay in their response, and including a PDF that had been made just for me, with instructions for donating to them through their web site... including a translation of my name to Japanese for me to copy-paste into their online form.
all this, after having JUST committed to donating to The Planetary Society (and having announced it here, and on Facebook)... WHAT IS THIS TIMING?
I responded to tell them that I had already committed to donating to The Planetary Society, but that I will definitely donate to them in the future :)
before that, though, I want to continue with my plan of hitting OTHER domains of making life on earth cooler - not just focusing on space - so my next two donations will be to Planned Parenthood, and PBS, and THEN I'll get to JAXA.
again, I realize that some of you may be more interested in the development of the game! I have not started on 0.7.7 yet, but I do have some ideas, and I will definitely release an update via YouTube to show off my progress, when I have progress to show!
