The Donga originates from Central Africa and takes place during inter-tribal events. It’s a form of ceremony involving men who wish to compete in courage and resistance.
The principle is to fight in a friendly but quite violent manner. Usualy, they do that with little or no protection and rudimentary weapons (a whip / piece of wood…) and continue till one of them gives up or his weapon gets broken.
