🤔 April update... In late May?
Yes, it's the April update and we are already in late May. But hey, we're French, and holidays are sacred! Paul and I took some well-deserved time off to travel and spend time with our loved ones.
Now that we're back, here is what happened lately:
📈 Wishlist Milestone
We proudly reached the 1,000 wishlists milestone!
The Steam algorithm is a fierce beast, and 1,000 wishlists isn't quite enough to satisfy the monster yet, but it’s still a fantastic milestone for us. To give you some context: on our previous game, Decarnation, we struggled to reach even 100 wishlists early on... and ended up launching with 100,000!
A huge thank you to everyone who has already wishlisted the game and tested the demo. Let's keep the momentum going for 2,000, 5,000, 10,000, and beyond!
🔮 New Arcanes
We are currently working on a batch of 10 new Arcanes (as well as new Effigies and Gems).
For instance, Spy Team will let you benefit from your double Numbers and double Symbols tokens, while Perspective is a scaling Arcane based on the token lines you build on the board!
These new Arcanes (and many other surprises) will be available soon in a major upcoming demo update.
🎮 Call for Tryharders!
Last but not least, we are looking for hardcore gamers who want to push the game and its strategies to their absolute limits.
We already have a couple of friends who are fierce optimizers helping us balance the mechanics, but the more, the merrier! If you want to help us break the game, my DMs (discord: repone, x/bs: @atelierQDB) are wide open.
