The main work on the cutscenes in Portal to Nowhere is nearly finished. What’s left is a final editing pass with the help of a friend to make sure all the text reads smoothly and is free of typos.
After that, I’m planning to run an open playtest, tentatively in 1-2 weeks. It’ll be a great chance to gather feedback, catch bugs, and see which scenes or puzzles work as intended - and which ones need a bit more polish.
I'm also thinking of adding some sound effects - right now, the game is almost silent, and that definitely hurts the atmosphere. If I have time, I’ll try to add at least some basic audio before the playtest to bring things to life a bit.
Finally, I’ll be opening a permanent Q&A thread in the Community Hub soon, where you’ll be able to ask anything about the development process.
