Better check your insurance policies, because Vaultron is now accepting applications!
The new vaultron insurance system will allow you to insure your ships in the unlikely case they are ever destroyed.
You will find the new insurance system on the vaultron loan terminals. Here you will be able to select for which ship you would like to get insurance. The cost of insurance is calculated by adding up one 5th of the ship resource cost and the weight of the ship.
When you apply insurance to a ship. It will be applied to that ship in the state it is in at the time of insuring. What that means is, if you modify your ship after applying the insurance those changes will not be insured. That means if your ship gets destroyed, you will be refunded the unmodified ship. In order receive your most up to date ship you will need to update your insurance. This can also be done through the same terminal by simply selecting your ship and you will be given the option to update your insurance.
Refunded ships will always be placed in the owner’s ship storage and can be retrieved at any Store-o-Tron kiosk.
Finally, we are adding a new player guide to the game. This new system will help new players learn about the game systems as they go.
The new system will give players notifications regarding the ship, the devices on it, and more. The main intent for this system is to give new players a helping hand by explaining the game’s systems as they go. That said, the new system will also have some use for veteran players since it displays which systems are damaged. Or which fuel tanks are empty. And for those who do not wish to make use of this system, don't worry you can turn it off in the options menu.
