MateEngine 1.5.8 – Changelog
This update contains small bug fixes and improvements!
Bug Reporting:
If you encounter any bugs, please open the Pets Menu and click the "Bug" icon. This will take you to our GitHub Issue Tracker, where you can report the problem.
Your reports help track down issues and make it easier for me to fix them!
Improvements:
- Added a Refresh button to the Sound Settings. Now, when you launch a new app and start playing music, you can simply click Refresh to update the list and add your audio source. (Some apps need to play sound before they appear in the Windows volume mixer.)
- Memory (RAM) usage is significantly improved! This is the most stable version of MateEngine so far, fully optimized for maximum performance!
Window Sitting:
- The Sit Zone has been slightly increased, making it easier to trigger sitting on windows.
- Sitting now works on multi-desktop setups! However, it won’t work if your monitors use different Scale/DPI settings. Make sure all your monitors use the same display scaling for proper functionality.
Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where rapidly clicking on the pet’s head could cause it to teleport to the ground and play a strange animation.
- Fixed an issue where Macaroon Sitting didn’t work correctly on multi-desktop setups.
- Fixed a bug where Macaroon Sitting could cause the Macaroon to despawn while the pet stayed floating.
- Fixed a bug where the pet wouldn’t dance when positioned in a weird “sweet spot” between the taskbar and desktop.
- Fixed a bug where the pet could sit on windows even if they were blocked by another app. It will now only sit on windows that are actually in front.
