While working on the next update we had a messenger ferret come into the office with the following message from Kovac:
" Hello survivors,
I am pleasantly surprised by the efforts of the community to master the survival techniques I developed. Some of the players may even survive after all!
I am so impressed that I am ready to offer a very special surprise in-game item to my most advanced students. They can post a Guide to the Steam Guides page. On Thursday Nov 12th from noon Pacific time the community will be able to vote on which 10 survivors have written the most helpful guides, with voting ending on Nov 16th at noon pacific. Everyone can vote for 10 different guides. I will then reward the 10 most popular guides voted by fellow survivors as the winners!
What can I say? I am just soft-hearted...
