November 13, 2025 Progress Update
Hello everyone! I'm thrilled to announce that the voice lines for 29 characters are now fully recorded, implemented, and rendered! These characters are primarily those whose major roles in the main storyline have concluded. The remaining half of the cast will be recorded later, once the entire game's production is finished.
Alongside the audio work, I've also been busy creating 18 new asset illustrations. While many of these are destined for future marketing and promotional campaigns, some are also planned to be integrated directly into the game. (Consider this my way of making up for all the CG scenes I was too lazy to draw during the scriptwriting phase lollll
On a fun, related note, a recent coincidence led to a collaboration with Kieran Flitton (the voice of Poreiy) on another project. Both he and his girlfriend, Alexis Tipton (the English voice of Reze in the new Chainsaw Man movie), were incredibly warm and wonderful to work with. Kieran mentioned that Alexis has experience as a voice director. This opens up an exciting possibility: for the vast number of NPC voices required in Elegy, we might be able to enlist their help in connecting with more talented voice actors in the future!

Q: Dear Birctreel! How many days does it take to travel from Moata to Thalizac by train versus by car? Also, is 'Wandering Priest' a formal title used when addressing someone directly? Can I call Sulauthar 'Wandering Priest Sulauthar' to his face?"
A: I've never actually calculated the exact mileage, but given the transportation level in 1549... it should take about one night by train (roughly 9-12 hours, depending on the specific line and number of stops). Traveling by car would take significantly longer. Due to political tensions between Poimenzco and Cheiba during the Silent Period, cross-border travel was a mess, chaotic toll systems and poorly distributed gas stations made the journey difficult. That's why people often detoured through the Vipaci, which inadvertently boosted its tourism and wellness industry!
As for "Wandering Priest," it's generally used as a third-person title, much like "Teacher." You should just address as Father Sulauthar. (Why does calling him that feel so awkward? Is that your problem, Letzeriel?)
