Hello everyone!
Voivod: The Nuclear Warrior has officially entered Beta testing.
The game is now complete from beginning to end, and development has shifted into its final polishing phase.
Our current work is focused on the things that become increasingly important as a game approaches release: bug fixing, balance adjustments, quality-of-life improvements, visual polish, responsiveness and making sure that every system communicates itself clearly to the player.
At this stage, even relatively small changes can have a considerable impact on how the whole experience feels.
Learning from Gamescom
Gamescom 2026 gave us an excellent opportunity to test exactly that.
Our booth at the Indie Arena Booth was busy throughout the event, with players sometimes lining up to try the game.

More importantly, we were able to watch a large number of people experience Voivod: The Nuclear Warrior completely fresh, without any prior explanation from us.
That kind of testing is incredibly valuable.
It allowed us to identify several points where experienced players immediately understood what the game expected from them, while newcomers occasionally needed clearer communication.
As a result, some of our current Beta work is focused specifically on player onboarding, tutorial messaging and a handful of mechanics that can be communicated more naturally.
The goal isn’t to simplify the game, but to make sure that players understand the tools available to them before we begin asking them to master those tools.
Overall, the reception at Gamescom was extremely encouraging, and the feedback we gathered there is already making the final game better.
☢️ Transmission Incoming
Meanwhile, something else has begun appearing on our screens.
A short transmission from somewhere inside the world of Voivod: The Nuclear Warrior.
We could explain what it means.
But perhaps it’s better if you watch it first.
For now, that is all we’re transmitting.
The signal will become clearer soon.
If you’d like to support the game while we finish Beta, please wishlist and follow Voivod: The Nuclear Warrior on Steam. Every wishlist and follow helps Steam understand that people are interested in the project and helps us reach a wider audience.
Thank you for following the development!
