Development on Voivod: The Nuclear Warrior has been moving forward steadily, and over the past month we’ve focused on expanding and polishing many aspects of the game. Here’s a quick look at what we’ve been working on:
New areas added to broaden the world and atmosphere
New enemies, all hand-animated pixel by pixel
A first pass on skills and abilities
Visual and animation improvements across the board
Bug fixing and general gameplay refinement
A new, more dynamic approach to music and sound integration
All of this progress comes together in the newly released Prototype Trailer V2, which offers a clearer picture of the game’s direction and features a 16-bit reimagining of “Obsolete Beings,” a Voivod track from the 2018 album The Wake.
