The Spirit Stirs Again
Dreadbone isn't about a hero with a sword. It's about somethin older, something buried.
You are Tz'akabaak, the Earth Spirit. Once worshipped across the Island, your body was sealed long ago. But not everything was lost. The temples crumbled. The Jungle grew wild. Yet deep below your power held on fractured, quiet and waiting. Now you're awake and even with what little remains of your strength, three forces still answer your call: The Relic and the Earthquake and the Pollen.
The Relic
The relics were once offerings. Statues used to connect with you when you were still a god. Now, they're how you reach out again. Remember you don't control Henry, but the relic lets you guide him. It reconnects broken paths, makes roads appear that were long forgotten. It will help you guide henry through the island, making him come closer to you.
The Earthquake
The island still listens, but only when you're in the right spot. In your spirit form, you can rise or lower the terrain at your will. You can open up new routes, block off danger or tear through what's in the way. It's not a spell, it's your old strength pushing though the cracked earth. As you can see with this mechanics on you side, your freedom get's closer and closer. Henry is on his way towards you.
The Pollen
Ancient trees once blessed by Tz'akabaak still remain, scattered across the island, quiet and reminiscing from an age when you ruled. Their roots run deep into sacred grounds, and the pollen carry the whispers of a forgotten god. You can still trigger this trees freezing enemies in place, clouding their senses and disabling their ability to attack. It's not just defense. It's a sign the jungle hasn't forgotten you.
The Island Responds
This is just the beginning. More powers are buried. More forces will wake. But for now, these three are enough. The tools are in place and for the first time in a whole the path is starting to open. Dreadbone is changing and it knows you're back.
